If you feel like every single day you want to crawl in to your bed and disappear from the world. JUST STOP. You need to take contral of your life and make things happen for yourself. You need to be motivated. Without any motivation ,any task you do will be hard as you will struggle from that lack of an extra push that you need. Now I will give you 7 tips on staying motivtated.
Remember it’s your life and only you can motivate yourself
Some days I wonder why nothing is going well for me or why I don’t feel like doing anything? It is because on these days I don’t feel bothered and I never put any work in doing things. That is my main down fall. Even in school when I didn’t put any work in to my learning my grades always dropped. This made me realise that if things were going to start happening for me, I would have to pick my own behind up and do some work. I’m not saying that you are lazy but you need to remember that one of the best ways to feel motivated is with yourself. And if that means you have to go to the mirror and show yourself that you are the best and an amazing person that can do anything they want that; you shall.
At the end of the day, if you stay in your bed and wait an extra 5 minutes to do something it will never happen. You need to push yourself, motivate yourself and be determined. You need to be moving bricks (hahahah). As an amazing person you need to give yourself that extra push that no one can give you. Be your own motivation.
Start a hobby or do something that makes you happy
You need something that pushes you to get out of bed and do something that makes you feel very happy. For me that is reading books on Wattpad and learning languages like Korean. If there is nothing that makes you wanna move, rush home from school or leave work, well how will you even begin to feel motivated for anything. Hobbies give us a chance to let go of our every day worries and make ourselves happy. If you feel like you are never motivated and don’t know what the feeling is ……. get yourself a hobby. A challenging one-that will make sure that you will do something new everyday. For me this is blogging and korean and it’s been challenging but I’m getting there. So will you.
Cut out negative people
There are so many people out there who are so toxic they make you want to crawl into your bed and cry. It’s time to squash them out and say good-bye. THEY ARE NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. You need people in your life that make you want to move. Having best friends that make you want to go and have adventures are essential, so if this is your problem then spend some more time making some friends that can help you through thin and thick. Surround yourself with positive people and that equals positive vibes that benefit you. If your constantly around people who make you feel like you are too small for the world, they must be eliminated. They are restricting your from feeling that morning motivation that everyone gets. You need to enjoy it too.
Only think positive thoughts and let positive vibes in. This is also similar to cutting out negative people but this mainly stems of you. If your thoughts every day are I’m useless; I can’t do anything or I hate my life; you will never see any improvement. You will never feel motivated. Saying simple things like: this is my day to shine or I will accomplish something today can really make you feel motivated. Being positive all the time is sometimes overrated so don’t worry if you sometimes think about negative thoughts.
Not everyday is going to be your best day
There will be times when you feel like you are not motivated and can’t do anything. That is OKAY. You need some rest and time to reflect, if you are pushing yourself to be motivated and you’re not then don’t worry. If all of your days were amazing then something wouldn’t be right because life is hard…. All I’m trying to say is that if you need a date with Netflix, your bed and some ice cream then you do. Have some time for yourself.
Make a plan
Have you ever heard the saying ‘If you fail to plan,you plan to fail’ well it’s definitely true. Even if you are feeling motivated you may try to go through your day like that but without a plan you will end up stressed and in turn less motivated. Having a plan can keep you stress free and enable you to keep on track with your day. For some people they find it easier to go with the flow but sometimes having a plan is best. I’m the type of person who stresses over everything and I won’t be focused without a plan. So the message is make your Plan to avoid a stressful day which makes you not motivated.
Make a type of to-do list
To-do lists can be one of your methods to plan and they can really benefit you. Normally you would put your most important thing first then work your way down while keeping an organised mindset. This will benefit you because, if you do not finish your task then you will be able to know how to finish it in the future. By doing this you will not lose your motivation and your day will be amazing.
